PROFESSIONAL WOMEN'S GOLFER TAYLOR LEON JOINS ZACH JOHNSON ON THE AEGON/TRANSAMERICA "POWER OF DREAMS" TEAM

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (June 26, 2007) – When she steps onto the green making her professional golf debut at the 2007 United States Women's Open on June 28, Taylor Leon will sport the AEGON and Transamerica logos on her apparel and headwear. AEGON and its subsidiary Transamerica companies announced today the addition of Leon, a 2007 First Team NCAA All-American, to its roster of professional golf sponsorships. AEGON and Transamerica began supporting up-and-coming golfers in 2004 when they signed recent Masters Champion and Cedar Rapids native, Zach Johnson.

It was the admirable combination of a sound moral compass, outstanding work ethic, incomparable modesty, and of course, great play on the golf course that attracted AEGON and Transamerica to Leon, who turned professional after her sophomore season at the University of Georgia where she was the 2006 SEC Freshman of the Year and a two-time All-American.

"AEGON and Transamerica invested in me when I was in Taylor's position. That kind of support truly helped me fulfill my dream of winning a major, and I wish Taylor the best of luck as she embarks on her professional golf career," said 2007 Masters Champion, Zach Johnson.

Under the terms of her multi-year contract, Leon will endorse AEGON and Transamerica by sporting the AEGON logo on her hats and visors, and the Transamerica logo on her apparel. In addition to promoting the AEGON and Transamerica brands, Leon will make appearances on behalf of the company and will be featured in the companies' "Power of Dreams" advertising campaign, serving as an AEGON/Transamerica brand ambassador at national and international events.
