Northwell Health 403(b) and 401(k) Plan Re-enrollment

As part of our commitment to helping you prepare for retirement, Northwell Health employees who are contributing less than 3% to the Northwell Health 403(b) or 401(k) Plans will be automatically re-enrolled in their eligible plan at a 3% pretax rate (reduced by any after tax contributions being made) unless you affirmatively elect otherwise by December 24, 2019. This reenrollment occurs January 1 of every even-numbered calendar year (2020, 2022, etc.)

To change your contribution rate, log in to your plan account and select Contributions under Manage from the main menu.

To learn more, read the 403(b) and 401(k) communications.

Automatic Escalation

If you were automatically enrolled or reenrolled into the 403(b) or 401(k) plan and have not made a contribution rate election, your pretax contribution will automatically increase by 1% in January. Your contribution rate will continue to increase by 1% annually until it reaches 10% or until you make a contribution election. To make a contribution election, log in to your plan account and select Contributions under Mange from the main menu.
