Sponsoring Health in its Many Forms
Transamerica’s commitment to wealth and health doesn’t end with our customers, employees, and clients.
Our efforts go into our communities in the form of sponsorships that enable us to support physical and financial fitness as part of overall wellness.
Investing in your health is as critical as investing in your retirement ... this represents the future of sound advice.
American Heart Association®
Transamerica believes a healthy heart is fundamental to adding more years to your life, and more life to your years. This is why we collaborate with the American Heart Association, the largest voluntary health organization dedicated to eradicating heart disease and stroke. By focusing on workplace wellness, we're able to promote healthy habits for our customers, employees, and business associates.

Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) AgeLab
Transamerica has worked with the innovative minds at MIT AgeLab since 2013, engaging in a long-term research collaboration to design, develop, and deploy innovations that touch how the world's aging population will live, work, and play tomorrow.
Our research and insights on caregiving, dementia, longevity, and the multi-generational workforce help guide and inform financial advisors, their clients, employers, and their employees.
Together, we explore these topics at a deeper level and their impact on people's lives. For example, as people are living longer and caregiving becomes a more universal experience, we address how financial advisors should work with clients to ensure they have the quality of life they deserve, while protecting the financial security of their loved ones.

“Golf, like almost every business, is constantly changing and the talent is very deep. So, if you get stagnant and are slow to adapt, you’ll get run over.”
PGA and LPGA
In the spirit of encouraging active lifestyles and wellness, Transamerica is proud to support some of the greatest golfers of this generation with our sponsorships of members of the PGA and LPGA.

Zach Johnson
Transamerica has supported Zach Johnson since 2004. Since then, he has earned a remarkable 12 PGA TOUR victories, representing the U.S. in the Ryder Cup five times and the Presidents Cup four times.
His experience and leadership are just two of the reasons he’s been named vice-captain for both the Ryder Cup (2018 & 2020) and Presidents Cup (2019) teams.
Zach won his first major at the 2007 Masters. He captured the 2015 Open Championship at hallowed St. Andrews, winning in a thrilling playoff.
His character, sportsmanship, and charitable giving was recognized with the prestigious 2020 Payne Stewart Award. The Zach Johnson Foundation and Kids on Course program in his hometown of Cedar Rapids, Iowa provides tutoring, enrichment, and parent engagement strategies to put students on course to graduate from college.

Stewart Cink
Stewart Cink is a family man at heart, and his focus on planning for the future allows him to do what he loves with the people he loves. He was awarded the prestigious 2017 Payne Stewart Award in recognition of his extensive philanthropic efforts in the Atlanta area. Another one of his passions is BBQ, and he regularly enters national cooking competitions.
A Georgia Tech grad, Stewart is an eight-time PGA TOUR winner, including the 2009 Open Championship. He has represented the U.S. on five Ryder Cup teams, and four Presidents Cups.
Cink broke an 11-year winless streak at the Safeway Open in 2020. He followed that with a victory in the RBC Heritage in April 2021, and continues to play some of the best golf of his career with his son as his caddie.

Azahara Muñoz
Azahara Muñoz burst on the scene as the 2010 LPGA Rookie of the Year. In truth, it was the continuation of a long trend that began when she won the 2002 Spanish Amateur title at the age of 14. She left her native Spain as a teen to attend Arizona State, where she won both a team and individual national titles before turning pro.
Aza is a five-time Ladies European Tour tournament winner, and notched her first LPGA TOUR victory in 2012. She has played for team Europe in four Solheim Cups, and had the honor of representing Spain in both the 2020 and 2016 Olympics.
